Having served the South Florida area for nearly 15 years, Wendy is proud to have helped keep the women of South Florida looking glamorous and gorgeous! Her true inspiration, however, stems from a situation that is neither glamorous nor pretty.
Wendy's career was inspired after the loss of her best friend, Jennifer Lynn James to cancer in 1992. After Jennifer Lynn's passing, Wendy decided to dedicate her efforts to helping women who were suffering from cancer and other debilitating illnesses. With the knowledge that "if you look better, you often feel better"....Wendy set off to help in her own way...by making women beautiful!
After graduating Cosmetology School in Boca Raton, Florida, Wendy worked with several Wig companies and was a part of the American Cancer Society's "Look Good Feel Good" program of Broward County Florida. In 1997, she moved to Orlando to work at Walt Disney World as a Hair and Makeup Specialist.
Today, Wendy is proud to help women and men look and feel their best at Stylist 1. As sole owner and proprietor, Wendy can provide specialized services to clients in the Palm Beach area and still dedicate her time and resources to the charities so close to her heart.
Currently, Wendy is a volunteer for The American Cancer Society programs and the Trichotillomania society.
